Let's go back to the basics. CABS is a simple framework to help you build a consistent and decent Limited deck. Once you learn the rules, you can learn how to break them.

CABS Commandments:

• You will NOT have more than 8 uninkables in your deck.
• You will have a good mana curve. This will prioritize the two-to-four-ink characters. You will avoid seven-drops.
• You will have at least 30 characters in your deck.
• You will avoid card-draw spells, build-around locations, lore-reduction cards, do-nothing items, and the like.
• Every card in your deck will have a low setup cost. Your cards stand on their own; they don't require any gymnastics to be good.
• You will have a simple, clear game plan of gaining 20 lore. No milling or combos—just board control and gaining lore.
• You will prioritize efficient cards over situational cards. This means that you want cards that are consistently good rather than cards that are sometimes very good but sometimes very bad.
